SI TANGGANG
In a village ,Si Tanggang lives peacefully with his mother.
One day,Si Tanggang asked his mother a permission to work outside a village.
The day he went away, he met this one kind person that help him show the right way.
Then, Si Tanggang found out that the person is a captain of a big ship and he asked Si Tanggang to work with him.
In the ship, Tanggang work with a hardwork and the captain trusted him until he get Tanggang married with his daughter.
Si Tanggang lives more happily with her beautiful wife in a ship and he is a rich man that time.
Somehow, he never tell anyone about his background including his wife.
One fine day, the ship anchored at Tanggang's village.
Then, Tanggang's mother saw him and she ran quickly towards her son and hugged him.
Si Tanggang was very shocked but then he ignored his mother because he is ashamed of her appearance.
His mother felt very frustrated and prayed for her son. Suddenly the lightning flash harshly and Si Tanggang turned to be a stone.
BAWANG PUTIH BAWANG MERAH
In a village, live two widows with their two beautiful daughters, Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih.
One day, Bawang Putih’s mother being killed by Bawang Merah’s mother.
Since that incidence , Bawang Merah and her mother kept torturing her badly but Bawang Putih still live happily with her pets and bear to face her everyday with her stepsister and stepmother.
One day, she is sitting on a swing while singing a beautiful song without noticing that her voices is being heard by a prince.
Later than, the prince was looking for her all over the village.
When the prince arrived at Bawang Putih’s house, her stepmother was hiding her from the prince so that the prince would choose Bawang Merah.
However, the prince asked Bawang Merah to sing a song but the swing doesn’t move. So, Bawang Putih take place and when she sang the swing began to swing.
Finally, they married and lived happily together.
A STORY OF COCONUT TREE
There was once an old man. He was very, very old. Some people said he was a thousand years old! He was also very wise and he knew many things. Many people came to visit him in his cave near the sea. They always asked him to help them.
One day, a young man came to see this wise old man. "O wise father," said the young man, "I want to be useful to people. I want to serve them all my life. How can I do this?"
"That's very good," said the old man. "Here is a magic box. Do not open it until you reach home. If you open it now something will happen to you.
"Thank you, wise father," said the young man. He took the box and left. When he was out of the cave, he stopped. "I wonder what is in the box?" he said to himself. "I'm going to look."
He opened the box and at once he turned into a tall tree—a coconut tree. That was his punishment for disobeying the old man, but his still had his wish because the coconut tree is very useful to people.
